Well, I finally overcame guilt and fear and picked up a D300 yesterday. Got a great local deal by combining it with a Lowepro CompuTrekker pack. $1700

Now if I can just learn how to take a proper picture with it.
Weather is really sucking (sleet/rain/snow).
