The shot was taken with the Nikkor 35-70 2.8 lens at 40mm at F16 1/15 sec. mirrorup with cable release. Focus is on the arch, F16 gives it good depth of field but may result in some diffraction (I need to test my lens's for this) I try to use the depth of field preview button as much as possible when it is critical, also with the resolution of the D300 screen you can also check after the initial shot to get a pretty good idea if you have adequate DoF.

I would say overall this image is pretty good but could be sharper when viewed at 100%.
