I like the first shot the best, but i think the fill flash while interesting, was just short of covering the sand, had it covered all the sand, i think it would have made a more balance image. Also, the line up of the sun with the stump is a little to powerful for me, maybe a little more off set would have given the image more flow or balance. As it is, it's compelling. . .

I agree with Tony on that first one. However, it was nothing at all to "fill" in the rest of the beach in PP. Here is an edited version in which I tried to match the darker area of the beach with the foreground. I think it improves the image. Also I couldn't resist juicing it a little with some added saturation and contrast.

There just isn't anything better in photography for me than catching a great sunset (or sunrise) and this was a good one. If you're interested here are some of the ones I've been lucky to catch.
