Thank you. I take a lot of 'nothing' shots for artistic reference later, especially when drawing out of season. By that I mean, in winter when I spend more time drawing, I refer to the spring, summer and fall photos for inspiration. When the photo is used as inspirational reference, a 'nothing' shot is perfect to be blended with another or several other photos later in a drawing, and I am not clouded by too many elements in the shot.
I am trying to kill two birds with one stone, capturing what I need for artisic reference later and to increase my photographic skills. Sorry, I should have given the shot a little more explanation. Although I set up the shot this way, I would never had drawn it this way. I think maybe I should start paying more attention, shooting as I would draw, not just shooting to fill a gallery of reference shots.
