Its a fast way to present a whole lot of images, in an emotional manner. I HATE slow slideshows because I have a very short attention span. If I have to wait 3 seconds per image, I won't sit and wait. That is fine with 20 images, but, with over 100, no way Jose.

It is an add on to the presentation, not the entire thing. It is the first thing I show a client, then we go through individual images, then we pare them down to what they want.

I have a photographer friend who hates these too, but, he likes his Proshow Gold slideshows with soft music. I hate them. I think they are slow and tedious. Those sorts of slideshows get me begging for them to end already.

I am not a patient person though. I am also not calm. The one thing I do not like about Animoto, is when they screw with my exposure. They put filters on the photos that spotlight and do heavy darkening vignettes. I have emailed about the a few times and that is something I would like to see taken out. They are always changing and improving things so, hopefully that will be one of them. As a photographer, a high key image with a spotlight on it is ruined and looks like I can't figure out exposure. Defeats the purpose of showcasing the photos in a slideshow
