If you want to photograph Eagles, you should come up here to Alaska. They are as thick as blackbirds are down there. If you want to go to Homer, then this month and March are the last months the Eagles will be fed for photography. In November, go to Haines Alaska where the worlds largest concentration of Eagles are available for photography. Up to 3000 Eagles are there feeding on the last Salmon run of the year.
