As I just purchased the 580's prior to the 580 ii being announced, I was a bit cheesed. Shooting manually though is actually easier, LOL, as I get perfect exposures every single time.

What doesn't work with the older speedlights? The canon site says they all work ettl with the 5dm2. Or is it the in camera menus that don't work? I'm confused.
