Tony, good philosophy:) I am amazed at how far you can push process in a RAW workflow with minimal noise. That is, I’m surprised at the difference in noise levels between pushing RAW vs. JPG. I too have recently went beyond my usual comfort zone and took the shots anyway, only to be pleasantly surprised. The increase level of noise, was fairly well controlled with a pass of Neat image.
