yes, I had the 200 F2.8 on the camera and just rushed outside with it. The BIF shots were really hard because the bird was so close and riding some pretty strong up-drafts. Love the lens.

Believe me, I'm not big on omens but I wasn't real happy to see that critter. Kinda like spotting the Grim Reaper . Yesterday, it was Red-winged Hawks and herds of Ibis. Must be riding in on the back-draft of TS Ida.

Looks like Juneau's started her countdown to whelping so today is going to be a long one. Time to get the camera/lens/flash combo ready for puppy pics.
