Yesterday, I received the second part of a birthday gift from April 1 (no snide comments, pls) and was taken by a Disney employee into the parks for a day of shooting. For those of you who have access to Yellowstone, Kenai and the like, going to a Disney Park may not seem like much of a photo op but I went with specific goals in mind.

A veterinarian friend had asked me if I could put together some wildlife posters for her office. I, in my naivete, said "of course" not having a clue where I'd get the shots. And my wife has asked me for some flower shots to place on tiles for a mirror frame in our house renovation. So, first on the docket was The Animal Kingdom followed up with a visit to EPCOT and the Flower Festival.

Here are a few of the posters I've put together with images from the morning shoot at the Animal Kingdom. Some were shot through glass so I had to do some PS work to reduce the glare/handprints. The first one was a guy we had a chance to observe for almost 20 minutes. He was very cool. This is Kwabi.

Next is an owl being demonstrated for a group of youngsters.

A Tiger just washing up by one of the viewing stations.

And, my favorite, a gorilla fast asleep and oblivious to all the people watching.

These images have been printed at 13X19 on Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper and will be delivered to the Vet tomorrow.

Enjoy and, as always, CC welcomed.
