I think you did great with the composition and the light, as hard as it was. I really like the feeling of the first shot. I believe that the shots need tighter crops - no surprise. I think there is too much out of focuse grass in the first shot. and the second, has too much extra space around the subject. both leave me wondering a bit. that said, they really are nice shots! They could be printed just as they are, but I just like to make sure the viewer is focused only on MY subject and not left to stray. . .

Nice shots! I think youve done a great job the little girl will be happy to have them in the years to come.
