Welcome aboard. I just went to your blog - very nice. You have a lot of very different articles there.

As to the bird faces, I think that the cover shot was by my favorite. It is nicely separated from the background and very sharp. The eagle was my 2nd favorite as I really like the pose - though the point of focus appears to be the tip of the beak, and the face (particularly the eyes) looks a bit soft on my display.
