Out here I mostly see Osprey chasing both red tails and eagles.

Thanks Joe. Yes I do appreciate our western Kites. The pair at Batiquitos has been there for several
years. They are a joy to watch as they hover hunt above the lagoon. We have 4 Ospreys currently, but
I've never seen them go after the Red Tails. We also have a pair of Red-shouldered hawks that hunt the
lagoon. And right now the Egrets and Herons are nesting in the rookery in the lagoon. Spring is a great
time here.
