It is NOT a young GBH. It is a Little Blue Heron (LBH).
I chose that exposure by using aperture priority mode and choosing f/8 for its DOF and sharpness and which allowed for a fairly fast shutter speed.

I do not want to be anywhere near Chincoteague during the pony swim days. The place is too crowded for me on non-event days.
