Did you do some PS work on separation of fox and vegetation?

A bit of PS work for normal processing and dodge and burn technics on the background.

Thanks again for sharing these. They are really quite nice. I checked out the wildlife refuge - it seems great - though Delaware is a bit of a jump from here in Manhattan.

looks like you had some fun! Foxes are really cool.
I think the shots would be as good or better without the dodge and burn, they look very PS'd because of the "rim-light" around the fox. If you could somehow avoid that artifact, they would look better to me. . .

Nice captures nonetheless. . .
