Quote: Here's a chance for all to post an image from last spring to hold us over through the winter months.
Joe,
Very nice. Of course winter isn't that much different than summer in San Diego as far as weather goes. Spring to me is the season of new life. Here is a new family I caught last May.
Great shots Guys. Love those coot youngsters. I remember you posted those as a "what's this" last spring george. Tony where ever that is I would like to be there(that's what that picture says to me).Although if I were there I would be freezing my tail off-if I had one that is.I'm a confirmed Virginia wimp. I love your big animal shots.Where are you standing? It looks so flat and you are obviously at a higher elevation.
The big prairies of Alberta Canada. . . . I'm standing on the top of a small rise that is either a depositional remnant or base material that was not scoured out by a glacier, I dont think it's a wind deposition but I really did not look very closely at the parent material and there was no signs of other dunes in the area. . .
That is an absolutely beautiful shot. Great composition.
As for photographs to hold us off 'til Spring, LOL, I am feeling really caged up currently. However, I am getting excited about heading out to the Everglades in February.
