Was your first shot taken in Utah? If so, where? It looks like New England.

Mountains here much taller than N.E. That was a well to do ski resort 45 minutes from Salt Lake taken in the early fall season. Lots of good scenery here, good for photography.

Hey Marty,

I to was a bit surprised that you got such colors outside of Nevada...though it looked like no place I have ever seen in New England. It made me giddy just thinking about living up on one of those :P

Hey Marty,

Those shots are good. As I said earlier, heights make my skin crawl. Are you mountain climbing yourself? If you have more, you should post some of these in the Outside the Parks forum.

I appreciate the comments.
I do not climb, although hiking around here often borders on technical climbing.( I hike often). I live very near the mountains, here we have the "Wasatch Front" and also the "High Uintas", 11,000 + and 13,000 + ft above sea level.
I hope to post some resort and back country ski pictures here soon, as our winter unfolds.
