James, That is what I tried to get across in an earlier post about condensation won't be a problem. Prince Rupert is about 600 miles to the south of where I live and the condensation problem went away over a month almost 2 months ago.
WARNING: The following is MY personal opinion and not meant as advice or any statement of fact.
I personally stopped worring about condensation on my cameras and lenses. I can shoot at -25F and bring my equipment into my house and let it fog up. It has never hurt the equipment and when I photograph the Iditarod, I notice NOBODY worries about condensation and bring their equipment into the building. This includes ABC, CBS, NBC, BBC, ESPN. Face it, what baggie is big enough to hold a DSLR with a 300mm+ lens attached? I think todays cameras are just better sealed than the older film SLR camera bodies and it is not the problem that it once was. Just breath on a camera at -25F outside and it will fog up as bad as taking the camera in the house without being in a baggie.
