This was a 5 day celebration with draft mules, gaited mules,


show mules and sales. Columbia was once the center of the largest mule producing area in the world. This area supplied most of the US Army mules.

Wow wow wow -- these are awesome. I know there is a weight pull/draft horse exhibit around here somewhere and now I'm going to have to be sure to go. Absolutely love the spotty mule and my Danes would tower over that little pair. Great captures.

The size of these mules reminds me a little of the Chincoteague Ponies from Chincoteague, Va.

I agree Julie, I love the spotted mule also.
