Went out with the wife the other day.....thunderclouds were rolling through the gorge creating some nice soft light for the deep forest.

I think I am getting this D300 dialed in finally.....hit rate is improving over the last month.

Oh, you're killing me with these. Landscapes are something I'm not very good at, and to see these just makes me want to get there.

LOL>...first guy killed by artwork....(well except that guy the statue fell on)....LOLOLOL!!!

Everyone has their niche....I suck at people photography....(which would probably include pets..lol)

But my mission is complete if you want to go where I take a shot....as that truly is my motivation...to share amazing monents in amazing places with others.

Me, too!
Beautiful greens.

Have you adjusted your in-camera WB at all, or is that done solely in PP? I have found that the D300 tends to be a little heavy on the magenta side in auto.

I usually shoot on auto or if the colors look quite a bit off I switch to Preset and use my Expodisc. Then I just ifne tune the WB in RAW conversion.....and PP the files using my normal workflow (which has changed drasticly over the past few months watching Scott Kelby video training)

Hey Roman,

Very nice pano. It would be very easy to make a shot like this appear cluttered, but you were able to really do a nice job keeping it together. Are you just using PS3 for your pano stitching?
