PeggySue,
great image. I love the backdrop, too. Everything really works.
The end of life shots are very difficult to do but I'm always flattered when owners ask me to take them. Since most of the dogs I photograph at this stage are Rotties, we use those shots in the memorial ads we do for The Rottweiler Magazine. Still, it's hard to do them.
My contribution this week is a shot I took of a Rottie girl who was boarding with us for 2 weeks. Nikki came to stay with us while her family traveled to Puerto Rico on some family business. Nikki is just a wonderful girl: pretty, very sweet and exceptionally gentle. She loved the puppies and the puppies would come over to her and lick her ears. She ran in the yard with my entire crew without any problems. The only issue we had was having to feed her raw chicken every day by hand. Yuck. It ended up being my job and I hate handling raw chicken. But, other than that, she was an absolute delight.
So, here's Nikki.
Enjoy,
Jim
