A few today from our local dog park, of our 3 year old Mini-Schnauzer "Gromit".
Nikon D300, 200-400VR, ISO 200, 1.2000s, f/4 @ 400.

Hey Marc,

Great captures! They almost look 3d they are so vivid to me. The one critique that I will make is that you look like you were metering more for the shadow tones and that his grays and whites look blown out on occasion.

Hi James

I think in the 3rd image (where I just missed AF on his face) is blown on the whites, the other 2, I made sure they came up right on (monitoring the histogram + curves in CS3)
