Thanks for the feedback on pt 1. Daisy is quite inspiring. I think that she is going to very much be in the same league of photographers as Darrell Gulin and Artie Morris. Section II, which will go up tomorrow, I think, will be a good read.
If people have questions for Daisy or about her work, I will see what I can do to speak with her (she just recently got back from a trip and is home).
James, This is a great interview. Gives inspiration to people like me who are trying to get going with a nature photography business while still keeping a full-time job.
Thank you very much, Duane. I am pretty happy with the interview. She is going to be huge in a couple of years, I think.
On another note, I am trying to finally get the interview with Jack Dykinga up. NWP's first anniversary is coming up and I would like to have it ready to go live soon.
Glad to see you around! Thanks for the compliments on Daisy's site. You are right about her work. It is top notch.
I am trying to work on my interviews for '06. I am trying to tweek the recipe for the questions that I ask. I hope that people will continue to be interested in these pieces.
Daisy is a good friend of mine. She suggested that James write the piece about me that was published today. She is very talented and driven. Plus, she is funny as hell.
She lives in the warmest part of Switzerland and lives for the coldest parts of the world. She is heading to the far, far, far north soon, and her prep for that project is changing her life.
