This was the owners' favorite of the bunch for one of my sittings today.

This little gal went through 3 costume changes, but they like this one best.

Jim, I am in total agreement with the owners. This is great. And for someone who usually does not care for high key, this one really works for me.

I love it when a dog just spontaneously lays down on the set. I've just got to be quick enough to stop the owners from getting them back up again before I'm ready.

We had a lot of fun today. It was the first time out with a 9-foot roll of seamless. Up to now, we've been using a 4-foot roll, which gets too small real quick or a muslin.
Our first session today was a mastiff, so I was glad to have brought the wide stuff.

Thanks Julie! I'm thinking about doing a story-board of her different costumes today.

She's a therapy dog and participates in the Paws for Reading program. Apparently, the program requires a photo from each dog to be used on a bookmark passed out to the kids.

The photo the owners submitted was rejected for "bad lighting" so one of the images from today will be donated to that program. I wonder if they could use the storyboard on a bookmark . . .

Might be good tie in. Different costumes - different stories - reading . . . who knows.
