In Flight Woodpecker & Crow Call

These are from yesterday, I didn't have time to process them until now I spent the day hunting Jicarilla Wild Horses.

Louie the Lewis Woodpecker was ignoring me and enjoying the warm sun.

#1
Finally a littlelook.

#2
Acting like I am not any where around.

#3

#4
I used my crow call real soft to get him to look at me.

#5
I noticed something move out of the corner of my eye. YUP!!! the crow call got a crow to look at me from the top of a snow bank right in front of me. He came up from the other side of the bank. I had no idea hes was there.

#6
Louie decided if crows are coming he was leaving.

Geeeeeez I am not much good at distance so I am guessing about two car lengths. Regular cars not a stretch limo.

Hey Roger,

Beautiful shots. I take it you were using a flash? They all look picture perfect. My favorite of the series is #6...just beautiful.

James

Thanks James, for some reason he was very co-operative. I did have my BetterBeamer on the camera.
