Tanis has her very first time out in Jr's this weekend. No, the poor child is not ready, but, Dottie is easy to show and self stacks like a doberman. If she will leave her alone and walk her into a stack, she'll make it through. Just couldn't resist putting her in a local show

Julie,
good luck to Tanis with the hope that she enjoys the experience and doesn't think of it as an ordeal . She and Dot have a very special bond and, in time, they will be a very competitive team in Juniors.

It should be a wonderful experience for both of them. For you, not so wonderful and very stressful ! But enjoy the experience and, please, don't be too critical. The two of them have plenty of time to get it all together.

Photos from the show, please.

Jim

She isn't at all nervous. I think she is too young to feel nerves yet. The class she went to today was semi-private and it was a HUGE help. She has learned quite a bit in just two handling classes and one semi private junior class. I saw a major difference today. She picked up the "L" and triangle on the first try.

I won't be hard on her. I don't care if she wins or loses. Its all for fun. Don't worry, I'll have camera in hand

Dot is the perfect dog for this, because she walks into a stack and doesn't move. We all know she is my favorite though

Oh, and my emails to you are bouncing.

Julie,
double-check the email addy: I'm getting bunches every day. jgarvie@cfl.rr.com. Wish Tanis luck from us and make sure she has a great time. I see the confidence that Michelle has gained in Juniors (Michelle is Rowdy's favorite Junior Handler) and it's truly amazing.

Photos by Monday. That's an order !

Jim

I was replying to your emails and they both bounced. I don't know why
