Welcome to the forum - and a very nice photo. I wish we could see it larger. Anyway, embedding a photos is easy as long as you have a server that it is located on. If you plan on having NWP host the photo, it is always done as an attachment to the thread.

Try this formula below (without the spaces in the image tags).

[ image]http://yoururlname/yourfilename.jpg[ /image]

Thanks, James. My website is through www.betterphoto.com and I'm not sure if I can actually access their server (not as web-savvy as I should be), so for now, I'll send photos as attachments.

As you have your own website, why not just make a directory there for photos you want to show on other websites?

I'm not sure that betterphoto.com offers that option...at this point, there seem to be limitations to what I can do with it (both due to the site and to my limited knowledge...)

Hi Donna, if you place your images that you want to show off here in the same "level" or location as all of your images for your website, then once you upload them, James' info will work. It would look something like this:
[ image]http://www.donnadunaifphotography.com/yourfilename.jpg[ /image]

or it may also be like this:
[ image]http://www.donnadunaifphotography.com/-/donnadunaifphotography/yourfilename.jpg[ /image]
Of course, all without the space in the [ /image] and
[ image].

I'm still having problems posting the photo; when I upload to betterphoto.com, each photo is assigned an ID# and when I went back to get the filename, I couldn't find it on the site. Pasting the ID#, obviously, didn't work.

Will continue working on this.
