This is Beau. He is a 3 year old Golden that my friend owns. Unfortunately, what the photos don't show is that he is dying of Lymphoma and I took these photos today to memorialize when he is gone. He is such a happy neat boy who is going to be taken way too soon

Still have to work on the cloning of the wrought iron fencing in the background among other things but I thought I would share them as I was pleased at how the came out considering the lack of time and the inability to bring him to an area with a better background. For some reason the first one looks grainy - it is not in reality.

Hi Ingrid,

I am very sorry about Beau. Three years is so young. When did you find out?

I took a few minutes and made some adjustments to your first photo of Beau. Would it be OK if I e-mail it to you?

Sincerely,
James

Ingrid,
Beau is a very noble boy and it is such a shame that he's battling cancer. Your first photo is a lovely portrait of a very handsome dog before his body is ravaged by the disease. His owners should love it.

Cancer is a major threat to all of us who own and breed dogs. The pure-breds seem to get more than their fair share. Have the owners done any Chemo on him?

Tomorrow, we visit a girl we bred who is being treated for Lymphoma as well. She's only 5 years young and she's had a setback in the chemo treatment this week. So, it's time for Grandpa and Grandma to give her a big dose of love and get her feeling better.

Beautiful photos. BTW, I like the wrought iron fencing.

Jim

Yes, please do email me what you did and let me know how you did it

Beau started getting sick (vomiting etc) and they took him to the vet who diagnosed it. Unfortunately, it was too late according to the owner by the time it was diagnosed.

The pictures hid the fact that he has a bloated belly while the rest of him is almost skeletal. I tried to get photos that hid those things.

Thanks all!

Hey Ingrid,

I just sent an e-mail to your yahoo account. It is a small file (about 168k). If you want, I will gladly post it here with instructions if you think it is any good.

Ingrid,
Thanks for sharing. That is a shame about such a young dog. My brother just this week got the bad news that his 10 year old Golden is full of cancer, and he days are numbered too.

Thanks, Jeff
