I have had hit and miss results with overnight prints. Enough that I will take the chance for my own stuff, but, never for client stuff. They are much less expensive, but, I know WHCC stands behind printing errors.

I have also hear Bay photo does a really good job too

Thanks Teresa, my high key is not my biggest strength!

We've used Overnight Prints for our largest advertising client for direct mail postcard campaigns -- large production runs; very little turnaround time -- and they've never missed. I agree about WHCC for most of my photographic clients but sometimes you have to maximize your client's budget as well.

I've used Shutterfly and Zazzle for card orders and have been very happy with the quality of what I've received. And Zazzle is the only place I've found that does big calendars like last year's Sundance calendar.

You have to try them all for yourself and then use the ones that you really trust for your clients. That's part of the vendor process: select who does what best and keep testing them to make sure they maintain quality control.

I placed an order of folded cards last year from overnight prints and they were *terrible*. The colors were just so bad I threw them in the garbage. The did not stand behind them either. The reds were insane and all the colors were about 4x's too dark. The paper quality wasn't quite as good either

I did a postcard order this spring and they were fine. Hopefully my flat cards will be fine too.

I just do not chance it for clients.
