Yes they did stick around. They hatched the eggs and are now VERY busy striping my yard of insect pests. Here are a couple more shot I have taken recently. The Female is more confident and cooperative. She will perch on the stick closest to me where the male has yet to get the…. …. courage to come that close.

Lovely! Will be waiting for some fledgling photos too.

It is funny about the males, often pretty boys but spooky or shy too. Last weekend I came across some Flame, Scarlet and Red Capped Robins and do you think I could get any pictures of the males?? NO! They stayed a long way off. I would be too embarrassed to post a picture of a fuzzy little red speck.
