Hey Everyone,

Twice a year, the sunset matches the New York City Grid to almost perfection. Tomorrow is the 'big night' but tonight I hope that we get a pretty good view. If I have something decent, I will definitely share.

Cheers
James

Hey Everyone,

Manhattanhenge was completely clouded over for the main event, but this is what I got the night before. Not bad - a half ball.

Driving home from dinner, Chanthee and I passed this little church with the Empire States Building behind it as the backdrop.

James:

I really like both of these. Am I correct in assuming that the first one is moonrise the night of the so-called "Supermoon"? (i.e., full moon on the night the moon is closest to the earth) I wanted to try for a shot of the big moon rising over the mountains but, unfortunately, skies were uncharacteristically cloudy here in Tucson.

Jim
