Thought I would share some from last week when I photographed some lure coursing dogs. These were my favourite shots.

Very cool Nat. I like the 4th and 5th bes…. and the 8th oh wait, the 7th. Hell I like them all. What is that a plastic bag they use, something to tear easy?

Thanks, Jeff

Thanks guys.

It's just a plain plastic bag. 99% of the dogs never catch it but it's easy to replace when the fast ones do!

My own dog doesn't want to catch it. When they stop the lure he just waits for it to start again.

It seems like the whippets are most keen to catch and kill the "bunny". Even my whippet did so after her first run

This is not my whippet, but, these guys are serious.

An interesting note, the fawn whippet pictured, has more LC points than any other whippet in the US. I think he is an older dog, but can't remember his exact age. A real racing machine!!

We have one whippet racing regularly and damn she is fast. Most other dogs I can get about 4/5 photos as they come towards the end, but I only get two of her!

The greyhound and the pharoah hound pictured above are also very fast and regularly catch it.

Our next date is next Saturday and it's going to be lure racing with the smallies as well.
