Hey Folks,
My new website, I think, is past the 'beta' stage and ready for critique (though I still need to link the nature photographs for sale to the Printroom site). I humbly present:
www.morrisseyphotography.com
Please let me know what you think.
James
PS A warning though - for folks at 56k, I think it is a bit of a chore the first time you load it in. After it has been cached, it moves quite quickly.

James and Chanthee, Overall, the site looks nice, clean and professional with a logical and easy flow to it. All the info a client would want is quickly found and redundantly linked too. Very good.
I am not big on the flash and Java sites, but you guys did this one pretty well. I know of many sites where the photos “Roll out” like yours, but they bring out 3 or 4 dozen and it takes forever and you can’t click on them until they are done scrolling. So I like that while the thumbnails are coming out here, you can still click on them. Why is it that after I click on a photo I have to move my mouse to get it to go, is that specific to my machine?
On the home page, I had difficulty reading the script text in white, but I could not make out the word in blue after “Specializing in”. Ahhh I found it on your Philosophy page:)
At the end of the Nature and Wild life galleries there is an Order Online link, there is also one on the Nature and Wildlife Info page. The links work, but there are no nature and wildlife shots to buy on the Printroom.com site. Also in the header of the Printroom site it says to click on the links to the right, but they are below. At the very top of the Printroom site your name is a Hyper Link, but it’s linked back to the Printroom.com main page instead of your site.
GREAT leading the pet shots with that Sugar Glider!:) And I love the Parrot too.
The Galleries are nicely laid out with a good sampling of work. You could have easily overpowered visitors with 1000s of photos.
Sometimes when I click on the Online Album button the Printroom Site fails to load. Maybe 5% of the time. Looks like a Printroom.com thing.
Can you sell the pet photos to people other then the owners? Or is that something you shy away from?
Overall, I find it a great site. You have incorporated a lot of “bells and Whistles” that make it look good, but you have not weighed it down with a mess of confusing clutter. You have thoroughly explained your services and provided multiple ways for clients and potential clients to ask questions.
Thanks,
Jeff

Okay, I would desperately like to look but this is what I get
You have Flash player 7.0.19 installed.
This page displays the current Flash player version installed.
Nothing is displayed. Got any suggestions?

Good morning! Sometimes I do read Push/Pull on the door. In this case it is Firefox that will not accept your program. So I tried Internet Explorer and it lead me to the website that I could download it myself. This is why my webmaster uses the routes that work for the mases. Not all viewers will spend twenty minutes trying to get to a site. Your new site is lovely. Of course I am attracted to the pet page the most. Your opening larger photo is grand! The wedding page is where I have one change to suggest. Your large picture is of a bride getting ready. I feel that one should be the "wow" shot since it is the largest. The one with the red roses for instance might be a better choice.
I am sure you are proud of your wife and the lovely work she is doing - kudos to both of you.
Peggy Sue
