Hey Scott, LOL, don't be crushed!! I think that Koko is a beautiful cat - a Maine Coon? The first shot is very cute - though the flash is a bit strong, and I prefer the second shot to the first. I like the composition a lot. The part that is throwing me off in the photograph are the three flowers. What I mean is I can not tell if I like them or not. I think from a purist perspective, you want the cat, the whole cat and nothing but the cat...at least, nothing obscuring the cat. However, I am thinking that you photographed this in this way intentionally. I just don't know what to think of it - which is why I did not respond earlier. Your thoughts? Thanks for sharing! James

I have a tendency to come off a bit strong, so, I have been trying to tone myself down lately.
The first I am not very partial to. The ear tips are cut off with too much space below. Very cute cat and a funny capture. Not the most flattering though
The second has a really neat composition. I wish the eyes were sharp, I don't mind the rest being out of focus. I am with James on the flowers, part of me likes them there, and part does not. Maybe if the eyes were very sharp and the flowers more out of focus, it would work better
No, James it's a calico. I kinda like the added color of the flowers. Thanks for your input.
Regards,
