Hey Marty,

Nice shots. I think the first one is my favorite - a nice range of colors. The light on the second one is a bit strong, but I like the composition. What time of day are you taking these?

Thank-you for commenting. Three were shot with Canon 20D and 10-22 lens, several with circular polarizer and all with tripod and remote shutter release. On two of them, the angle was close focus right from "flower level", and apertures at about 22-25.
Correct, those were mid to late afternoon shots, although the luminescence in the wildflower study is an effect I like. That one I took with 70-200 2.8, no filter. I wonder if a polarizer would have worked well here.

I used to ski bum here, now I live 10-15 minutes away, and I do look forward to winter!
