You can also see my progression with lights(I am a slow learner!)

This is my whippet from before she was bred to yesterday(day 55) She is due on Halloween. I will edit and put more up as time passes.

Julie,
That poor poor girl!!:) How is her disposition through all this? I’ll bet she is in that “Can’t get comfortable” mode?

Neat series, you are right, the change is so much more dramatic when you can see it. I too also see the lighting learning curve. Her markings make the “Bloat” look worse too. Right behind her front shoulder, the dark color markings make it look like her belly is taking a twist.

Thanks, Jeff

LOL. I hear what you are saying. I cannot imagine that she is very comfortable, and she is being a real sport by allowing you to pose her.

Is there a way to help her pose so that her tail does not curl in so significantly? Or, am I being overly critical?

James

That is a pretty natural way to hold the tail for a whippet. People think they are not very sweet dogs because they don't usually have their ears up and their tails are usually clamped like that.

The tail was up in the backyard photo because I was telling her to "get the squirrel".

I am going to get another of her today. She is really ready to be done with all this. She lays on her back and gets stuck, like a turtle! This morning, I could see the perfect outline of of the puppies.
