Since it is winter and I am spending more time inside then out, I figure it is a good time to share my work from the past year. Also, if anyone from Ontario, Canada is on here, I would love to hear of any sanctuaries that they have visited.

Thanks
Brian

Hi Brian,

I have never been to a sanctuary for large mammals (outside of the Elk Refuge). I would also like to hear of folks experiences.

BTW, great shots. Love that first Lion photo - where was it taken?

James

Hey James

I got the first shot at the Bergerons large cat sanctuary, which is located about 2 hours east of Toronto. The cat was actually lying under a low roof with wood slats on top. This allowed little rows of sunlight to shine through on the cats face. I really liked how it turned out.

The first one really stands out. All are lovely. but, the desaturation of the lion with his eyes glowing is just great!

Excellent shots, my favorites are #'s 1 and 4
We don't have anything like that around my area of Iowa.

I've got to say that whatever you did to the male lion I'd like to know how. Great treatment. The Cheetah's are great too. bsvirginian

Hi Brian,

This may seem a silly question, but what are the marks across the lions face?

James
