I'm new to the forum and wanted to post some of my images from
my vacation in Florida. The smugmug website slide show does not display EXIF data. I was using a Rebel XTi, 100-400mm L IS lens(70-300 IS for animal shots.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Welcome to the community. I went to your smugmug page...GREAT work. You did a nice job picking out photographs to share...the Louisiana Heron and Green Stork were my two favorite bird photographs.

Were the gorillas and orangutan taken at a zoo? They are very good.

Welcome Rich. It was enjoyable to review your images. Some are very strong. As a body of work it would stand stronger to take a few out. It would be interesting if everyone could pick the top ten images. Hope to see more work.

The female orangutan, gorilla and Macaques were at Monkey Jungle, a private zoo in Miami. These were the only 3 exhibits that were easy to photograph(no barriers).


The male orangutan was in the Miami Zoo which is wonderful for photogs...no cages anywhere.
