The black horse is an arabian stallion, who, looks just like THE arabian stallion. He was muddy and has his winter coat. The paint is really an ugly mare. Just an old rescue. I redid these as they lacked pretty much everything. I also did one of a cat that was on the fence. I liked it well as it was, so, it may be overdone

This technique just seems to bring to life some photos that were just blah. It can be over the top though

I have seen a number of Orton tutorials but this one gives the most control over the process. Although I don't use effects like this often, I always appreciate a good tute.
