This is my first attempt at posting a photo to ANY site, EVER!!! Oh man!! Can't you just feel the tension?!? LOL
I just wanted to see if I did it right. If it worked, I would appreciate any C&C. These are a shy pair of Teals, I believe. Correct me if I am wrong.

Hi Morris,

Welcome and congrats on the first post. The shot is nice though I think that the levels are too low. I would kick it up about a stop in PS if possible. Otherwise, it is a nice, classic scene of the two ducks - LOL, I have no idea what type of ducks they are. :P

It worked! Wooohooo!!!
Ok, thanks for the comments, James. I am pretty new to all of this, so please forgive me if I ask too many questions. But, you say I need to increase the levels "about a stop". 1)In PS, how do you measure stops?
2)If I understand you correctly, then I need to basically double the amount of light, right? I did adjust this photo in PhotoShop CS, but I have a lot to learn there as well!
3)Can you recommend a good tutorial on how to properly resize and save photos in PS? Just not sure if I'm doing it in such a way that it preserves maximum picture quality.
This is some fun stuff, but there is a fairly steep learning curve at first. I do appreciate yours, and anybody elses help! Thanks!
