Took my mother-in-law to the airport this morning and against my usual norm I did not bring my whole kit. She wanted a family shot with the mountains in the background so I just brought the 30D with a 17mm on it and the flash. As luck would have it though we ran into two young moose on the way high. They were only about 20 yards away in a field and were not too interested in the attention they caused. But with the 400mm at home I had no choice but to shoot with the 17mm. Note to self, " never be so stupid again." Here's the result of my lapse in judment:

Now I gotta ask.....
Filter/enhancement on the colors??
Back east, when I send shots from the Rocky Mountains, they always ask what filter??
Um.....God's!?
