I see photos with nice black borders and other borders with writing inside of them.

Can someone explain how this is done or what products are used?

thanks...

I'm not about to out do Roman, but in PS CS2, I use the rectangle marquee tool, frame the edge, either within or outside the canvas, <edit> fill, <choose color>, and then using the type tool, type whatever.
I was also taught another way, but I'd have to refer back to my notebook.
IF Roman(or anyone who might be able to answer) Does show up, ANY ideas of how to unlock my cloning tool? I changed NO settings, and came back one day to finish, and found nothing to be working! ACK! I had to finish with the patch tool.

You can also use Ctrl A, which will put the marching ants on the outside and then stroke to about 10px in the color of your choice 'Voila, and easy border

You can make a simple border by resizing the canvas size (not the image size) larger. Nothiong fancy, but it's quick.
