In preparation for my climb up the Grand with my friend, John, I decided to fly out a few days early and do 'the usual set' with someone who had never been to the West before. It is always a blast when you get to show the icons to someone who has never seen them before, and we had a blast hitting the 'best of locations' on repeat. Maybe I am not actually bored of the icons after-all, as it was so much fun. How can you not look at those pieces of rocks and just be awed?
