Felicia was picked up as a stray in San Diego. She was starved and covered with embedded foxtails, many of which had to be surgiclly removed. She was near death and lethargic. However, after several months of high calorie, high protein meals, she was adopted into her "furever" home...

Carly was picked up as a stray and brought to an Inland Empire animal shelter. She would not let the volunteer groomer anywhere near her and threatened to bite the groomer. Because of her behavior and filthy, matted condition, she was deemed unadoptable and scheduled to be euthanized.
Her behavior at the shelter was simply due to fear. She has never even growled at us whle being fostered. She is a loving sweetheart who, we think is really pretty after grooming. We expect her coat to grow in evenly after a bit of time...
