I've never had so much trouble imbedding an image I thought the original problem was that I had the "direct linking" option disabled on my pbase account but the photos still aren't coming through.

I have posted photo's to other forums before without a problem so not sure where I'm going wrong with this forum. Hopefully it works this time as I'd really like to participate in this forum...

It has to be settings or the url you are copying. The image tags are pretty generic and straightforward. You can also upload as an attachment if you like, though, that has to be clicked on.

Make sure there isn't a setting with your pbase account restricting it and that your URL has a jpg on the end

Did the photo come through, Julie? I can see it...but I could see the other pics I posted when others couldn't...

That's a shame I've followed the directions and can't figure out why they aren't appearing (I have done this successfully before...just not on this forum).

LOL, well that works! It is also a very nice photograph to boot. I wish I knew what was going on with your PBase account. Some folks have no problems posting with pbase, others have nothing but problems. I don't understand the differences. Having said that, I tried entering your URLs myself and could not do it.
