I am using an ACER AL1916W 32 bit color 1024x768 pixels.

By the way which type monitor do you prefer for editing photos for printing. LCD or CRT?

Well I hung in with an IBM 21 inch CRT until last year because I felt that a CRT was a better choice. However the 8 year old IBM finally gave up the ghost and I had a real hankering for more screen real estate. So now I'm using a Dell 2407WFP 24" wide screen monitor at 1920x1200 with 32 bit color. It is really a joy using this monitor and there are just so many reasons not to use a CRT (size, weight, environmental waste, etc).

I'm sold on the Apple Cinema Monitors. I have two 30-inchers on my main machine.

"I can't see a lot of difference in the colors, but the gif shows a lot more graininess. Call it artifacts or pixelization, or whatever. I had to pull them up in CS3 and blow them up to REALLY see the difference though. "

I was going to say the same thing. The gif file appears much grainier and overly sharp.
