Hey Guys,

Does anyone know where do properly calibrated printer drivers go in photoshop? LOL, I cannot remember where they go, and I want to try some Ilford paper but don't want to do it until I have them printer/computer on the same page.

James,
on a Mac, they are at user/library/colorsync/profiles but I have no idea where they live on a PC. Good luck. Do a search for files with the .icc suffix and see where they are on your hard drive.

I'm not sure, but if you right click on the file and tell it to install it goes into the right place.

Depends on how many versions of Photoshop you have on your HD. I like to point them in the right direction.

James,

I just went through this because I just got an HP Printer. I am not sure if it is different based upon the OS, but for Vista (64) the directory path is:

c://windows/system32/spool/drivers/color/

This has worked for me - to make the profile show up in both the printer and Photoshop.
