You can see that confidence in her eyes. I just love to see puppies with that level of self-confidence where you can look right into their souls through their eyes.

As I said, I love Bulldogs. I wouldn't own one -- I think they have too many physical problems. But the ones I've had the pleasure to meet over the years as a show photographer have been just wonderful. Met one at an outdoor show several years ago that was just 6 months old and was showing for the first time. She was standing next to my table under the tent and just walked over, put her paws in my lap and decided I should hold her. For the rest of the day, she'd look for me when I wasn't in the ring, wait for me to sit and then drag her owner over so I could hold her some more.
