With the last litter of puppies now 9 months old, I took advantage of the fact that mom, Juneau, and her son, Ike (Moxie's brother) were staying with us for a week and updated their photo galleries. Ike (Annihaus Blue Suede Combat Boots) was the chunk of the litter when it hit the ground on November 11, 2009. Here's what he looked like at 6 weeks of age.
And here's what he looks like today.
Ike's evil twin sister, Moxie (Annihaus Blue Suede Moccasins) looked like this at 6 weeks of age.
And like this today.
That last shot is just so "her": she didn't like the bait I was using -- cheese-stuffed Turkey dogs -- and that was her reaction to it. I also want to apologize for the legs -- mine, not the dogs'
. After 5 operations on the right knee and one on the left they are not particularly attractive to look at. But, when you are the only one in the house that can stack a dog, you become a handler and pass the camera to the "Graphic Designer" in the family, Ms. Linda. Frankly, I think she did a remarkable job with these shots.
As for size, Ike is about 95 lbs. now and is taller than our Harry Potter but shorter than Sundance (most Rotties are shorter than Sundance). Moxie is taller than her mom, Juneau, and about the same height as her grandma, Cassidy. She weighs 85 lbs. and is built like a tank.
Thought you'd enjoy seeing how the kids continue to mature. Both Ike and Moxie are just adorable puppies as well. Until they start playing at 4 in the morning. On the bed!! Then, they are juvenile delinquents!!!!
