Hey Roger,
Nice. When I was in Kansas for a wedding a few years back, I saw a troop of turkeys (gaggle? flock??) and stopped on the side of the road to photograph them. Before I could get my camera out, they were gone.
James I agree they are spooky.

It seriously felt like something out of a bad movie. LOL, I spotted them at least three times over the course of time I was there and each time they bolted. I felt very rejected. What works best for me is to figure out where they are roosting and where they are eating and then try to set up a ambush.
